Bardiche
The bardiche is another polearm weapon. It's also similar to the battleaxe. The bardiche is basically a variation of the halberd, except that the kingdoms in Western Europe (England, France, Spain) preferred to use the halberd where as the Eastern European countries preffered to sue the Bardiche. It was mainly used in Russia and Poland.
All forms of bardiches are usually going to be similar in the fact they will have a long, curved, cleaver-like blade on one side of the shaft. The only difference is where the actual blade is attached to the shaft. Bardiches were a pretty effective tool, considering they're very disproportionate. The bardiche has one of the biggest blades, but one of the smallest pole. For this reason, the bardiche is probably closer to certain scandinavian axe-like weapons than a true polearm.
